At Maison de Méthode, I believe research is the foundation of every great experience. I founded this studio to uncover how people interact with digital products, services, and environments, and to give organizations the clarity to design with confidence.

Through interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and spatial audits, I reveal not just what users do, but why. My approach is rooted in evidence and guided by method, transforming human behavior into actionable insight.

The mission is simple: replace assumptions with research, so every experience, whether digital or spatial, feels intuitive, meaningful, and effortless.

Valerie Koppang

I’m Valerie Koppang, a UX researcher and strategist with a passion for understanding how people experience the world around them, whether through a digital product, a service interaction, or a physical environment.

My journey began in the U.S. and Europe, where I earned a dual master’s degree in UX design and product management. My thesis explored trust and human interaction with humanoid robots in autism education, sharpening my ability to uncover the why behind user behavior. Since then, I’ve applied these methods to hospitality, retail, and digital platforms, from auditing boutique hotels to shaping e-commerce experiences.

I founded Maison de Méthode to bring research-driven clarity to design. Through interviews, usability studies, journey mapping, and spatial audits, I translate human insight into clear direction for brands and organizations.

At the core of my work I believe the most powerful experiences are the ones that feel seamless, where every interaction is intentional, consistent, and human-centered.
